Hermès, mon Amour
One of the most beautiful perks of this inspirational and yet so hardworking job is to be closer to art and be intrigued by different perspectives when it comes to fashion. Hermès, and respecting my expectations, was pretty much magical – although I almost didn’t make it due to the horrific traffic caused by the protests on the streets and, of course, the rain.
For this show I went with a very simple and clean look, giving the proper stage to my ivory trench coat that I wore as a single pince while pairing with a barely-there sandal, super on trend for this SS19.
The collection felt a true ode to leather and to every earth tone that might exist across the entire colour palette, providing us with tips about the must-have shares for the season. In terms of key-pieces, pencil skirts are having a major come back, so you better work your styling ideas. Another thing that you might feel attract to again is the super practical and stylish belt bag aka bum bag. That is right, keep them in your closet, ready to grab.
One funny coincidence was to bump into the beautiful Gala Gonzalez, for the second time on the same day, as we did street style in the same spot in the morning, which made the day even more remarkable.
